Artwork description:

Aquatint etching on Somerset Velvet paper. Image size 18 x 20 cm, offered with mount 10"x 12" so it fits standard frames.

The image Is a drawing of my garden border in summer, with white hydrangea flowers and foliage from crocosmia, Ivy and bindweed making pattern and texture.

To make this I covered a zinc plate with aquatint, painted varnish on lightest areas, dipped it in acid. This painting and dipping was repeated several times. I then inked and printed onto damp paper.
