Good Easter to you!
Reading is my next favorite after drawing. These cute chickens are seeking seeds of wisdom at the bookshelves. Possibly they try to find out which came first: the chicken or the egg?
Note that it is not a wooden panel but a deep edge canvas I used together with my special technique for a wooden-like structure.
Of course half of the beauty of this picture is in titles of the books. Since I have painted this work as a comission for a Danish customer the titles are in Danish. They sounds like "The chicken or the egg?", "Cats and other vermins", "Get rid of cellulite", "Nest construction for dummies", "101 ways of pooping on people ", etc.
One can commission this work with English or Russian titles of the books.
I hope you smile looking at this painting as I did when I was creating it.
