'Blue Wave' is inspired by the movement and calm energy of the ocean. The sweeping shapes and flowing colors reflect how water helps us release tension and return to balance. Deep blues, soft turquoise, and touches of violet create a sense of motion, while shimmering pigments and resin add light and texture that shift throughout the day.
I chose acrylic and resin because they allow the paint to move freely, creating natural waves and glossy water-like effects. The piece was created intuitively, letting the colors blend and find their own direction—just like the ocean itself.
This artwork is meant to bring a feeling of peace, clarity, and renewal.
