Original artwork description
This large 120 x 90 cm acrylic painting (shipped rolled) was created from the idea of merging earth and water into one rhythm. I wanted to capture the natural dynamics of the elements – shades of sky blue and deep navy blend with the warmth of burnt umber and soft sandy tones, evoking both freshness and stability.
White textured accents applied with a palette knife bring depth and make the surface “alive,” shifting with the light. Vertical and horizontal strokes form a composition that recalls the intersection of streams and structures, where one can see reflections of water and traces of time.
