Leopard is a very graceful and elegant animal. Simple background only enhances the attention on the pattern of this big cat that is surrounded by small hills in the desert with big cactuses and surrealistic yellow flowers.
I like the collage way of organizing and forming elements on the canvas. It looks like a puzzle, when one element overlap or transforms into another, that creates the feeling of interest finding new objects that are not obvious at first glance. This painting combines different acrylic techniques such as scratching, multilayering, and usage of different textures.
