Peaceful and calm, with shimmering blue tones. Blue Halycon's name reflects the Tranquility of the painting. Painted in acrylic and texture pastes on a 1.5 metre box canvas, the artwork has layer upon layer of translucent medium glazes to build up a translucency to ocean and moody skies. The inspiration for the artwork comes from Pauls' many visits and stays on the islands around the United Kingdom and further afield.
Blue Halycon is ready to hang as an edge painted 1.5 by 1 metre artwork, or with white tray frame (additional fee, quoted via Direct message)
