Original artwork description:
BLUE CAT is a creation from the CalbinoOz series, made from calabash wood combined with moulded surfine wood cellulose.
The creation was meticulously painted with a dry brush in several layers, then varnished to give it a very specific ceramic finish, which blends with the lightly stained and varnished calabash wood.
The seeds of the calabash were removed so that the sculpture could be sent abroad if necessary.
As it became lighter, it was mounted on a small homemade wooden base for greater stability.
The work comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Material: dried calabash wood, superfine wood cellulose, acrylic paint, water-soluble oil paint, protective varnish. Handmade raw wood base.
