Original artwork description:

'Blue Bird Ballad' - original acrylic painting on stretched high-quality linen canvas.
In her latest series of works, Ayna Paisley seeks to create a new world forged from fiction and reality, inviting the viewer to question the stability of our seemingly certain physical existence and experience.
By applying metaphorical language to objects and situations the artist creates serene compositions sprinkled with subtle details of odd, surrealistic, or sinister elements. This illusion, balancing on a knife’s edge between the real and the surreal, explores the drama of what it is to be human and the poetic meaning of everyday life. Painted entirely with acrylics with a lot of care and attention to the tiniest details her paintings have enough room for spontaneous decisions like scraping entire layers of paint off to create beautiful textures.

This painting is sold framed in a wooden floater frame of warm grey color that compliments the painting beautifully.
