“The sea! the sea! The endless sea! The deep, the wild, the eternally free!“
As the viewer take a look at my work, I hope they can’t help but be transported into my world, sailing around the world with my family for seven years. An incredible journey: 7 years, 30,000 nautical miles / 55,000 kilometers, 28 countries. Storms, waves, transatlantic passages, the almost incomprehensible vastness of the Pacific, weeks with no land in sight, isolated islands...
The „Beyond the sea“ series captures the essence of the sea and sailing, evoking a sense of freedom and adventure, especially offshore sailing.
