The colours of blossom in spring make me want to go to japan .
There is nothing like this event in all seasons .
This painting was inspired by walks in Bowdon cheshire england in late spring .
I have done a few of on this subject. Three to be precise .
I don't generally do small canvases .This painting is on a canvas board.
It was the different shades of pink and red flowers that i wanted to capture .
Looks like i will have to do a bigger piece to be able to explore the detail of the light on flowers and the leaves 🍁 flooded with light .
