In this work, I explore the explosive energy of preparation and the vibrant rewards of creative discipline. I painted this piece while training for my first live painting competition, a period that required me to embrace spontaneity to be fully prepared for the unknown. The thick, impasto-style bursts of red, yellow, and orange represent the sudden, kinetic ideas that emerge when working under pressure. By setting this energetic bouquet against a calm, light blue backdrop, I am documenting the balance required to stay grounded while navigating the intensity of a live performance. This process of creating "random" works was a vital decision that prepared me for the worst and ultimately helped me succeed in the competitive arena. To me, this vessel is a symbol of professional growth and the beauty that blooms from rigorous practice. It stands as a testament to the moment I realized that preparation is the bridge between a simple study and a triumphant result.
