DESCRIPTION

I've always felt a deep connection to nature and horses. For me, a horse isn't just an animal - it's the embodiment of grace, strength, and freedom. In this piece, I wanted to capture not just a static portrait, but a living, emotional moment.

Using thick, textured brushstrokes with oils, I created dynamic surfaces that bring out the movement in the mane and the roughness of the coat. The impressionistic background, with its bright bursts of spring foliage, brings light and energy to the painting.

This captures a moment where horse and nature become one - every movement, every play of light across the mane tells its story. I painted this to fill spaces with energy and beauty, reminding us that true freedom comes from living in harmony with the world around us.
