Artwork description:

This character makes a frequent appearance in my 'The Blocks of War'-series of photopolymer etchings.
I thought it would be fun to make a 3D version of a very 2D character. As a welcome break in my regular printmaking, I set about sculpting it in wood and wax. Then I casted it in black epoxy resin.

After a prototype run of 3 copies, I decided to do a small edition run of 10 casts.
This one depicted is #1/10. It measures 24 cm high, 9 cm wide and 7 cm deep. It’s a lightweight at around 275 grams. (including wooden base)

All ten sculptures are numbered and signed on the back of the base. It ships in a well protected cardboard box, via registered mail. A Certificate of Authenticity will be included.
