'Blind Curve' (2026)Oil painting by Scott McLachlan

30 x 30 x 0.5cm (unframed)

£420

Rain erases the distance ahead of me.
The road bends out of sight, dark, wet, unforgiving.
Light smears across the surface and vanishes. Wind and water take the edges of things away. There is no view beyond the curve, only grip and judgement.
I don’t see what’s coming.
I commit anyway.
