This high-quality oil and acrylic painting is done on natural cork fabric (cork leather) stretched on a wood frame, gallery wrapped, with no need for framing, as the edges are on cork. You will receive it "ready to hang", with a hook on the back. It is an exquisite work of art, due to the effect of the natural cork. Really one of a kind!

Part of my Cork Series, this piece is deeply connected to my Portuguese roots — a return to nature, rawness, and simplicity. Cork is 100% natural, reusable, and recyclable. It is harvested without cutting trees; cork oaks regenerate after each harvest, sustaining biodiversity and rural livelihoods.

To paint on cork is to collaborate with the land. The surface is not merely a backdrop but a living material, carrying its own voice of sustainability.
