This is an energetic earthy abstract that was done with acrylic and mixed media on a gallery profile canvas in various shades of blue and brown with a touch of black. It has loads of texture, expressive mark making and layers. It is sealed with a satin protective finish.

This piece will be shipped ready to hang in the U.S.
NOTE: If piece is being shipped out of the U.S, because of its size, it will be removed from its stretcher bars, and it will be shipped rolled in a tube to be re-stretched by the collector. This saves tremendously on the shipping price.

It is signed on the front with a second signature on the back along with the title and date created.

Continuing with the coffee theme, this piece reminded me of black coffee in a white mug.

I name my pieces by what occurred while painting the piece. What moved me, what struggles had to be overcome, my mood, my train of thought, what the piece reminded me of, sometimes a song that was on and the beat moved me or the lyrics influenced me in some way. Some pieces are named clearly with a bit of humor. I never intentionally start out a painting saying “I’m going to do this, or I’m going to do that”. All of my pieces morph into something that is totally surprising and unexpected.
