Title: "Existential Witness"
UNFRAMED
This drawing is from the fantasy series "Watchers," starring mysterious bird-maidens. Feathered witnesses to the processes of life and death, they exist between worlds. They are aware of all the senses of the earthly world, yet they are "above" fear and pain.
Because they also have access to all the wisdom of the supermundane world, unknown to man.
They observe how time changes, how life and death succeed each other. They preserve memory, but never interfere in earthly affairs.
The drawing was done with pencils and liners and colored with watercolors.
Paper 300 gsm and professional watercolor paints were used.
