The artwork offers a surreal setting that unfolds on a portion of Florence's famous Ponte Vecchio, which, as in a dream, seems to never wake up and never sleep. The huge broken clock dominates the scene as a symbol of suspended time, in which presences emerging from the discreet shadows seem to interpret its mystery. I created this painting using oil to explore the unstoppable flow of time and its balances that are not fully understood. Styles such as expressionism and surrealism allowed me to depict the interweaving of tangible reality and ethereal, metaphysical reality, in which enigmatic portraits merge with a narrative unraveled beyond normal perception. This work evokes deep reflections and will be a hub of energy and mysterious dialogue in your home.
