"Between Coral and Butterflies" began as an open experiment, with no plan or final image in mind. I started by painting expressively with many colors, then softened everything under transparent white paint. A pink web followed, which felt close to complete but not quite resolved. From there, black lines were used to define the organic shapes. Finally a darker base was added and scraped back, allowing earlier layers to reappear. The final result is a layered, intuitive work that holds both softness and tension, shaped by instinct and the accumulation of decisions made along the way. The work is influenced by my ongoing fascination with the balance between movement and stillness, ease and resistance, light and dark.

This bold and express artwork will add a statement in any space.

Medium: Acrylic paint on gallery grade Italian cotton canvas.

Signed Certificate of Authenticity.

The artwork was painted on high-quality Italian cotton canvas and will be shipped un-stretched, with a 6 cm border left for stretching. The back ground colors extend an extra 3cm, allowing the sides to be painted once it's mounted on a frame. It will be carefully rolled and shipped in a tube for safe international delivery and can be easily and affordably stretched at your local framing store.

Shipping: The artwork is shipped in a tube via DHL Express.

Feel free to reach out with any questions or for more information about the artwork, commissions, or shipping.
