A small moment of quiet observation that reminds us that there is beauty and interest in the mundane if we slowdown and appreciate the extraordinary in the ordinary. My hope is that this painting serves as a reminder to look for the beauty that we might otherwise miss.

This observational series will be ongoing as these works are created as much for my wellbeing as for yours - observational work becomes a mindful process for me when I need to slow down, and I believe this experience is also passed onto the viewer as the layers of drawing, measuring, annotation and painting remain deliberately on the canvas encouraging a noticing and connection with the process.
