Gaia, a metal body like primordial earth, traversed by visible and invisible forces.
This sculpture represents a life-size female bust and is part of the Belisama series, dedicated to founding female figures and the energy of life.
Made of metal lace, the work combines steel and bronze in an openwork, organic, almost telluric structure.
The bronze lines form an internal framework, evoking vital networks, while the raw, textured steel allows light and space to circulate, like a deep breath.
With its human scale, Gaia establishes a frontal and silent presence.
Steel base 10 x 16.5 cm.
