Original artwork description:

I chose a simple, clear motif: a branch with three ripe nectarines hanging down from above. The fruits glow in different shades of red and orange, with soft hints of yellow in between. A few green leaves frame the scene, as the last visible connection to where the fruit comes from. The black background erases everything else—only the moment remains.

For me, this painting is a symbol of pausing in transition. The nectarines are at their absolute peak—there’s no stage more beautiful, but that also means decay is already near. I wanted to capture this tension between fullness and impermanence. Maybe it’s also about letting things stay in suspension for a while, without pushing them forward too soon.
