Original artwork description
This is one of a series that I am doing based on riders on the New York subway. I am always looking to create an emotion. In this case it seems to by tired and bored... anxious to get home.
BEEN A LONG DAY is a one-of-a-kind, original work of art and no authorized copies will ever be made. The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
I work exclusively with India ink and acrylic paint on 4 mil archival grade mylar. the acrylic for the background work and the India ink for details.
All of my artwork has a clear protective coating applied so that it is not necessary nor desirable to put it behind glass.
This painting will be shipped in a 4 inch diameter PVC tube. The painting is very easy to mount on any type of sturdy surface (masonite, plywood, foamboard, etc.). I include simple mounting instructions with each piece that I sell. I also include a hanging strip, repositionable adhesive and a wall hanging device.
