Bumble bee on cow parsley_x000D_
I consider myself immensely lucky to be living near a nature reserve, more so recently during the recent lockdowns. I found more time to observe nature and it also seemed wildlife came out to play more due to the absence of usual human activity._x000D_
For this artwork the bumble bees and foliage were sketched loosely with a promarker and a wash was applied with watercolour paints. Accents in gold and white pearlescent were added with acrylic ink, to give a subtle shimmer on the cow parsley.

Bockingford 300gsm, artist quality Daniel Smith watercolour paint, Acrylic ink
