This painting participated in the exhibition "Bestiary", held at the Moscow Darwin Museum in 2023.

I met this bear at the zoo in a cramped cage. At first I made a small sketch, and then I decided to draw this animal not in the zoo, but in the wild. I sent my bear to the forest.
It seems to me that this stern resident has even become kinder in the wild.
My airy watercolor technique made him look more like a fluffy cloud than a menacing animal. :)
