Beach Clover is an original handmade linocut print, inspired by the wild natural beauty of the northern Scottish coast. I captured this scene while travelling in Scotland—drawn to the contrast between the hardy surfers in cold northern waters and the soft, hazy landscape where the sea meets the sky. The coastal scene features gently rolling sand dunes, misty sea horizons, and vivid pink-purple beach clover in the foreground.

Created using the reduction linocut technique, this original print is made entirely by hand. Only one piece of lino was used, carved progressively for each of the 21 layers of colour. Once a layer is printed, it cannot be recreated, making this a truly limited edition print.

Each colour layer was carefully applied using oil-based Calico inks and printed on high-quality Italian Fabriano Rosapina paper, known for its rich texture and archival quality.
