"Barrier" explores the obstacles that stand in the way of progress. Using rectangular forms and repetitive lines, it evokes an abstract topography, a landscape of limitation and perseverance. Part of my "Horizon Collection", this black and white painting features subtle texture created through palette knife marks on the base layer, adding depth and tactile interest.
