This is a barn in Ségur-le-Château, a beautiful medieval village in Corrèze France, an hour from where I live. I was trying to capture that ephemeral moment when a low lying sun starts streaming into a scene.
Painted in a loose, impressionist manner on Italian canvasboard (canvas attached to board), and later varnished.
Oil paints (Rembrandt, Old Holland, Winsor & Newton, Gamblin, lefranc & bourgeois)
