My art is about mystery and stillness, an exploration of who we are as human beings and where exactly I fit in. I feel I learn and teach by making art. 

I received a Master of Fine Arts degree from Otis Art Institute with a major in painting and a minor in drawing.
I have worked as an exhibiting abstract artist, editorial, corporate and advertising illustrator and international poster artist for over forty years. I received a silver medal from The Society of Illustrators and numerous awards of merit from national and international publications. My illustrations and paintings have been featured in numerous books and magazines.

 I have  participated in over forty solo and group gallery exhibitions nation-wide. My work includes projects funded by grants from the Department of Education and the Foundation for Global Community. Most recently, my painting, "Aurora," was awarded the Award of Excellence at the Webster Arts Exhibition, Elevate April of 2021.

I taught advanced painting at Mount St. Mary's College, and Art Exploration at the Summer Academic Enrichment Program at C.S.U.N. for over a decade.
