There are characters who knock on my studio door and ask to be told. Bariglio is one of them: a playful soul enclosed in a shell that bears the marks of time.
In this work, I wanted to explore the contrast between the fragility of ceramic and the solidity of aged wood. The barrel, decorated with the stars of an old circus, has become for me a symbol of protection that doesn't hide, but rather enhances the cheerfulness of the face. I worked hard on the nuances of the background, a vibrant turquoise sky, to give this suspended figure a space where gravity does not exist.
Painting it was like rediscovering a forgotten childhood game. It is a work that speaks of resilience and wonder, dedicated to the collector who can see the poetry behind a mask and the strength behind a smile. A silent guardian of dreams, ready to bring luminous energy and a touch of healthy madness to your space.

The work has a simple frame and is ready to hang.
The work is signed on the front and back and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
This work is exhibited at the LABIRINTO DELLA MASONE exhibition.
