In times of turmoil and chaos, we might feel guilty, monstrous even, for experiencing joy. Perhaps we think "so many people are suffering, I shouldn't feel happy." But it isn't wrong to feel joy, and it doesn't relieve the pain of others to restrict ourselves from happiness. Sometimes joy is even a little bit contagious, and helps lift, lighten and soothe those around us. Like this gleeful monster, who makes me chuckle and grin. Go ahead, be a joyful fiend. I double-dare you. :)
