What I wanted to capture in this piece is an impression of quiet elegance and inner stillness. It is not just the form of a dancer at rest, but the sense of anticipation before a performance. The brushstrokes remain loose, almost dreamlike, allowing the figure to emerge softly from the background—as if she exists in a space between reality and the fragile, pending mood of artistry yet to unfold.
