Original artwork description
When creating this painting, I wanted to capture the solitude and grandeur of a cowboy against the vast horizon. The blazing sunset sky contrasts with the rider’s silhouette, symbolizing harmony between man and nature. I applied thick oil strokes and strong contrasts to emphasize the fiery sky and the earth’s stability. The horse’s muscles are defined through the interplay of light and shadow to convey strength, while the cowboy’s silhouette is painted with simple yet firm strokes to highlight resilience and calm. Through the clash of colors and light, I aimed to immerse the viewer in that fleeting moment of vastness and serenity.
