This black-and-white photo print captures a surreal and dreamlike vision of a suspended wheelbarrow, its chain serving as a climbing path for a naked woman. The image exemplifies the artist’s fascination with exploring the irrational and the subconscious, while also challenging traditional norms and expectations. The wheelbarrow, an emblem of manual labor and resilience, hangs weightlessly in mid-air, evoking a sense of detachment from reality. In contrast, the woman’s vulnerability and defenselessness subvert the typically utilitarian and masculine associations of the wheelbarrow. This juxtaposition creates a hauntingly surreal scene, blending tension and intrigue into a thought-provoking composition.

For printing we use pigmented inks and museum quality archival paper (giclée printing technique) - this means that the light resistance of the colors is more than 100 years, in accordance with Wilhelm Imaging Research.
