The hills and coast of ancient Wales are a never-ending inspiration! This abstract painting started life as a quick digital sketch of the undulating but rugged hills that lie between my studio and Cardigan Bay (Bae Ceredigion) far beyond. I later created this artwork on art paper (this picture) before moving on to re-imagine the view in stained glass, as you can see from other works here on Artfinder.
My studios are in woodland - an ancient ash coppice wood near the Welsh border, once destroyed by war but now the home to oak, pine, hawthorn and larch - the inspiration for much of my painting.
This print is on paper, professionally mounted, and is ready to hang in your home of office.
