“Axis of Becoming” is an original large-scale abstract acrylic painting created on canvas, measuring 100 × 140 cm.

I created this piece as a dialogue between structure and release — a visual moment where vertical strength meets fluid transformation. Working in layered acrylics, I built the surface gradually, allowing deep blue, muted teal, soft white, warm sand, and earthy brown tones to intersect and dissolve into one another.

The composition is anchored by strong vertical and horizontal elements, softened by expressive brushwork, palette knife textures, and controlled paint drips. These gestures introduce movement and depth, creating a dynamic contrast between defined forms and spontaneous marks. Subtle light accents and textured highlights draw the eye inward, revealing new details with every viewing distance.

This painting changes depending on light and space: from afar it feels bold and architectural; up close it becomes intimate, tactile, and emotionally layered. It was created to live confidently in modern interiors — contemporary living rooms, refined offices, design studios, or curated gallery walls — where scale, balance, and atmosphere matter.

“Axis of Becoming” is not just a visual statement; it is a piece about growth, transition, and the beauty found in layered complexity.

The artwork is signed, dated and titled on the reverse and ships in a tube. This method is particularly safe for oversized works and ensures lower transport costs. Rolled works may be easily stretched upon arrival (placed on wooden stretchers for canvases) and/or framed by a local framer.
