I have enjoyed painting this abstract floral painting, I am captivated by the roses looking like they are emerging from the misty grey background. I created the beginning layers with my fingers getting really involved with the expressive motions and built it up with layers of paint, pencil & oil pastels.

I find this is a very contemplative piece & I hope you do too.
