This painting captures a silence that is not empty, but full of life. A moment when the day is just beginning and the light, gently awakening the world, touches the water, the grass, the leaves.
It shows a pond near my home, in the early morning — a time when nature speaks without words.
In its reflection, you see not only the sky, but also an inner state of stillness, presence, and unity with something greater.

In the foreground, tall reeds rise like silent observers of the morning stillness. Beyond them, the surface of the pond quietly mirrors the sky and the trees to the right, whose dark trunks and branches create a delicate pattern against the brightening horizon. The light of dawn softly brushes the left shoreline, emerging through a veil of morning mist, while above, the sky unfolds in pastel tones of blue, grey, and warm orange.

Light is the central character in this piece. It doesn’t just illuminate — it is being born. It’s soft, tentative, yet warm and alive. The space opens gradually to the viewer: through subtle tones, reflections, and gentle transitions of color. The palette is calm and reserved — like nature itself in that moment when nothing is demanded, and everything simply is.
