This is one in my series of emotionally charged coastal abstract artworks. Created in February 2026.
I used saturated vibrant colors and powerful brush strokes, as I do in all my paintings, in order to create a lasting visual impression. I infuse my art, in the Daoist tradition, with positive intention behind the painting.
This painting evokes morning light, the newness of Spring and fresh flowers, and billowing clouds reflecting over a cool lake.
In addition, this painting incorporates all the lighter color trend tones for 2026-2027.
Colors include various shades of green and blue, touches of taupe and coral with additional highlights of white, cream, and yellow.
Materials:
Professional paints and canvas. Finished with a glaze of UV varnish to protect against sunlight and dust damage.
