Part of the ‘12 Days of Christmas’ series, capturing the warmth of holiday moments.

I painted this piece with the special feeling of early winter, when the first wreath appears on the door and you can already sense that the holiday is approaching. I wanted to capture that exact moment of anticipation: when the pine greenery is still fresh from the frost, the ribbon has a subtle silky sheen, and the golden baubles and pinecones catch the light as if the cheerful laughter and scent of gingerbread are about to spill from behind the door.

This watercolor will look wonderful in a hallway, kitchen, or living room—anywhere you want to add a warm pre-Christmas mood and a touch of color. The piece is created on thick watercolor paper and has a very rich texture that is delightful to explore up close.
