Original artwork description
Although I loved painting for the Bath Art Prize in recent years I was glad that Bristol was the chosen location in 2013. I was allocated Caledonia Place and was surprised and enchanted by the park and the residents young and old enjoying their leisure time on a wonderful summer afternoon. It was the first time I had visited this area of Bristol and walking up towards the Suspension Bridge I glanced back to see guests on the terrace of the Avon Gorge Hotel relaxing in front of the countryside view.
Painting size: 50cm x 75cm x 2cm 20in x 30in x 1in.
Framed size: 56cm x 80cm x 4cm 22.5in x 32.5in x 1.5in.
Surface: Acrylic on traditional stretched canvas in a high quality white frame.
