I wanted to capture the quiet tenderness of a rainy autumn day in Paris—seen from the cozy corner of a café, looking out at the Eiffel Tower. I chose this intimate perspective to create a contrast between the warm, inviting interior and the cool, misty city beyond the window. The glowing candle, rich coffee tones, and soft cake textures stand in warm contrast to the grey, rain-washed streets. I used a combination of thick brushstrokes and gentle blending in oil to convey the blurred reflections, shimmering lights, and falling leaves. My goal was to evoke a feeling of stillness, warmth, and that unmistakable Parisian charm, inviting the viewer to pause and feel the poetry of the moment.
