Original artwork description
The summer was surprisingly long and warm. Global warming seemed to have radically changed the climate in Lithuania for the better and that now we would have warm autumns like in Greece. However, no... Fall, although a month late, has come nevertheless. And with it came the amazing color combination of autumn sunsets, golden leaves, spider webs with dew on the grass, rain, and cold nights. Had to take winter clothes off the mezzanine and get ready for a long, gray (if one was lucky and had snow, white) winter.
Ignoring outside the window, unseasonably cooing, pigeons; overlooking his cozy dwelling from the windowsill, on which are placed plaster sculptures of birds - a young cat chooses home comfort and warmth.
Perhaps the sky is high outside the window there and there are adventures waiting around every corner... but it will wait until spring.
This is a one-of-a-kind drawing made by me in tempera, gouache and colored pencils on high quality paper (260 gm. Cotton, durable, Neutral pH, acid-free, lignin-free). The drawing was fixed with professional spray varnish for gouache drawings for preservation. The image is signed by hand on the front side. Not framed.
