Artwork description
It was a sunny but windy day in late September and I was on the moor above Cotherstone in Teesdale near where I live. This group of trees have struggled to grow high on the moor, an area with very few trees, but it is not an easy existence and I wanted to try and capture that. I think they are Black Pine, but whatever they are they are very hardy to survive here.
This is one of a limited edition of 30. The prints are printed by hand which means that each print is subtly different.
Printed on 300 grm paper in water based and oil based inks and mounted in Ice White. The print is ready to frame in a 50 x 23 cms standard frame. For posting the mounted print is packaged in cellophane, bubble wrap and cardboard to protect it on its journey to your wall.
