Original artwork description
Painted on-site in Minneapolis, MN. Features an autumn maple tree with leaves in shades of lemon yellow, golden yellow, yellow-green, orange, and ochre. The scene is completed by a deep blue sky, the orange foliage of another maple in the background, rich green grass and shrubs, and autumn grasses with yellow wildflowers, Painted on board with oil over casein paint. The matte texture of the casein paint in the sky and grass contrasts with the oil paint of the foliage. Paint has been applied with both palette knife and brush, and the foliage is enhanced by the thickly textured paint.
Framed in a 2" wide frame with a gloss cherry finish and gold inner edge. May also be purchased unframed by request.
