My paintings are often inspired by my love and fascination with ever-changing skies and cloud formation.
In this piece, I tried to capture the bright golden hue of sunset, as is crept slowly across the horizon.
The light ignites the metallic gold tones, as it shimmers and reflects on the dark waters beneath
- a very striking pallet.
I am always drawn to the movement and mood of the skies and sea - Calm and dreamy, to dramatic and surreal.
I study the sea and skies over Anglesey, North Wales and also the Cheshire hills, close to my home.
