Original artwork description:
A random moment and the play of light and shadow inspired this painting. It was the first time I used UV yellow on canvas, but while painting I did not see the strange play of this paint. Its light is reflected like an aura on the white wall. The painting is actually about a woman trying to define herself. It is about imprints of memory, the validity of which is indicated by the outlines. A recurring motif is the black and white checkered surface, reminiscent of a chessboard.
