Original artwork description

Series Atlantic crossing, painted on a part of the sail which brought my family and me on our sailboat from Europe to the Pacific, so this painting is very special.

If you have ever dreamed of living on a boat and sailing around the world: here is the perfect reminder to live this dream one day.

The work is painted on part of our main sail. A work with corners, folds and edges, absolutely authentic with history. This sail sailed 30.000 nm/55.000 km.

Atlantic crossing XXL
70 x 190 cm - for frame 80 x 200 cm

Acrylics/mixed media on sailcloth / texture

Artwork needs to be framed behind glass like examples - frame is not included.

Shipment rolled in a tube

During the years on the sea (circumnavigation 2009 - 2015) I had the chance to study so many different cultures, learning their way of living and the luck to make friends with so many different people. I feel it just natural, maybe ineluctable, that my paintings changed from abstract art to human faces.

But sometimes I'm going back to my roots for abstract work. Mainly in elegant black & white, sometimes with color accents.

I'm a fulltime freelance artist since 2003, you can find my work in galleries (London, Madrid, Melbourne), exhibitions, artfairs and in collections all over the world.

Buyers outside of European Union: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility - Non-EU buyers will get a little extra painting to compensate evtl. import duties.

Room view - example/dimensions may not scale
