Lifelong Pacific Northwest dweller, I am continually inspired by myth, magic, and the movement of nature. My art moves between the worlds of the seen and unseen and I gleefully bring treasures from both realms. I started out scribbling as a little girl in Tacoma, Washington and after struggling to learn to stay in the lines all my life, I've finally given up. Now I live in a little timber town in the coastal range in Oregon and I still love to scribble. The artist I most admire is Joan Mitchell, not only for her work but for her determination and strength as well. I hope someday I will be as completely undeterred by other people's opinions as she was. Sometimes I catch glimpses. I've sold in galleries and retail outlets along the west coast, including Crate and Barrel, and thousands of paintings online. But every painting I still learn something new and I hope it never ends.
