Ashkii is a portrait of a young boy with his devoted cat companion. The painting is set against a backdrop of a beautiful landscape, suggesting the boy's thirst for adventure and his yearning to see the world. Ashkii is a young traveler, researcher, philosopher. I painted Ashkii to capture the purity and wonder of childhood. I wanted to create a painting that would evoke the sense of adventure and curiosity that children have when their lives are full of possibilities.
The globe in Ashkii's hands represents his dreams and aspirations. He wants to learn about the world and all it has to offer.
